A young woman is grieving, one day she picks up the courage and crosses the threshold into a Tattoo Club looking for answers. What she gets is membership into an rebellious world where legendary tattooist Jessie Knight has some things to get off her chest. Jessie’s Tattoo Club is a place of mystery, where only the brave may enter…but dig deeper and beneath her thick skin you’ll find a magical space where stories flow, songs are shared, myths are busted and art makes its mark.
Following the hit gig-theatre show ‘Sinners Club’ Jessie’s Tattoo Club is a piece full of heart and music that harnesses the counter-culture world of tattooing and circus, and celebrates the voices of inspiring women. In particular the life and poems of trailblazing Tattoo artist Jessie Knight.
